Trek Overview

The Mustang region occupies the southern fringes of the Tibetan plateau and is dominated by Himalayan peaks such as Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. This classic and rewarding trek takes you to the border of one of the most remote kingdoms on earth within a reasonable timeframe and without ascending to extreme altitude.

Trekking in this region is an adventure full of natural beauty and cultural diversity. The area features dramatic altitude variations and ecological diversity, making it one of the most fascinating trekking destinations in Nepal.

You will trek across sacred valleys surrounded by massive Himalayan peaks and encounter people from diverse ethnic backgrounds who have adapted their lifestyle to the steep terraces and barren plateaus over centuries.

The trek includes breathtaking views from Poon Hill, relaxing experiences at natural hot springs in Tatopani, and a visit to the sacred pilgrimage site of Muktinath, where both Buddhists and Hindus come for spiritual purposes.
